By popular demand the Durrant Jeep rally has been changed to Memorial Day weekend again for this year (the last weekend in May). We'd also like to see everyone with a balloon tied to their antenna's like they did in the old days.
We don't know for sure what trails we will be doing, but we will try to get a good mix of easy and hard to try an satisfy everyone's taste. Please comment and tell us what you want to run and what days you'll be coming and where you'll be staying. We just went down for the Safari and did our usual Cliffhanger on Thursday, so I would prefer not to do that again. We also hit the Pickle, which is turning into one of my favorites. We got a little out of our comfort zone on The Dolores Overlook Trail, and also did Rose Garden Hill. I would be up for pretty much anything except those, although I would do the Pickle again and make Caroline drive this time. Let us know what you think, otherwise we won't know what people are wanting to do.
I will be staying at Ron's Campground, his phone number is (435) 259-2982 and on the web at www.packcreekcampground.com. Make your reservations now for where you want to stay. I'll be heading down Thursday May 27th and staying until Monday evening, May 31. Come when you can. For those needing Jeep rentals, there are a couple of places that people have used in the past. The first one is Farabee's and their phone number is 435-259-7494 and their web site address is www.moabjeeprentals.com. The other one is Cliffhanger Jeep Rentals (if I were renting I would go here) and their number is 435-259-0889 and their web site address is www.cliffhangerjeeprental.com. There are some others as well, if you want to do some research. I hope to see as many of you there as possible, and hopefully we will have some more friends join us as well.

I would like to do a hard one one day and maybe we could get back on our Top of the World trail one day, since we didn't get to go on for the safari and we have never been on it! Just a thought!
We will most likely be there friday night. I'm up for an early day Saturday morning and going down to Elephant hill. If that's too far for people...I'd love to get to the big sand hill on Moab Rim, or I'd go to Pritchett, the pickle, or the rusy nail...any of those sound good to me. We could also go to area BFE and Green Day. That would challenge those that want it, and provide the go arounds for those that dont.
