Easter Jeep Safari 2012

Well...the Durrants made it down to Moab for another Easter Jeep Safari. We started off the trip by taking a hike to Delicate Arch on Wednesday afternoon. Jaxon, Drew and Kade all made the 3 mile round trip by themselves.



Wednesday night was Blaine's lucky night...when he scored a big win at the Club raffle...GOODYEAR tires! We started out Thursday morning with some Bouldering. Bryce, Hope's husband made it look pretty easy....the rest of us...not so much.





Then we headed off to the pickle for some jeeping. Caroline took the TJ up wishbone at the end!










Then we fired off some rounds from the 1911.




Dad joined us for Friday and Saturday, and we headed off to Moab Rim, where the group had two broken axles on the crack and two broken drive shafts at the top of the Z-turn. Dad and I took the two with broken drive shafts back down and caught up to the rest of the group at the top of the sand hill. After checking out some petroglyphs at the end of the trail, both Caroline and I made it up the sand hill. The boys from ScreaminLizard.com handed out hats to those who made it.











Friday night we didn't manage to win anything at the raffle. Saturday had us on Cliffhanger....where they tipped on on it's side...but I didn't get the pics of that, so Blaine will have to post those. The boys had an easter-egg hunt...but the rest of the trail was fairly uneventful.






Glad I made it out, it was worth the trip. Thanks to Blaine and Caroline and Mom and Dad for providing all my food. Pretty much I just had to show up! Lets do it again!
