Here is the first stop where the kids were ready to turn back and go home:
I made it to Wellington and threw in the towel and loaded her up with Brady's big JK on the Brahma trailer. It took me about 3 hours to get to Wellington and man was the rest of the ride to Moab smooth and quiet in Brady's truck. This sputtering had me quite worried as we were ticketed for Hells Revenge and it has some long steep climbs so I was a little nervous about that. Luckily the Siggy performed flawlessly on Day 1 at Behind the Rocks and wiped out all concerns that I had for Hells Revenge.
Caroline decided to run Behind the Rocks with her sway bar still connected in order to work on her technical driving skills:
Everyone had fun at the little dunes at the end of the trail:
We did Hells Revenge on Day 2 without too much excitement. Terry conquered the Escalator in his Teryx, that was pretty sweet. We didn't take a lot of jeeping pictures that day.
Day 3 we decided to take it easy and hit Top of the World and of course on the easiest trail is where again I have to call for help about 15 miles from town on the way back in from the trail. Someone forgot to tighten down my tranny mount bolts to my transmission and they worked themselves out and caused my tranny to shift just enough that my front yoke on my transfer case was meeting up with the skid plate on every rotation. So onto the trailer again. Thanks Brady, I owe you big time!
